Transparent background for PowerPoint

I want to include some Flash MX “swf” files into a PowerPoint presentation. I know how to make transparent backgrounds for HTML but regardless of how I publish my flash, or include it in PowerPoint (frameless, window or transparent) the flash animation always shows the original white background.

It doesn’t seem possible to save a swf and then get PowerPoint to see that it is transparent. I want some text and a small animation scrolling across some parts of a presentation.

Thanks for your help

Simon

I’m not sure if it is possible to do a transparent background in Flash or not. However, if your Powerpoint has a single color background where you want your .swfs to be, just get the RGB values from Powerpoint and input them into Flash. Then make that your background in Flash and it should blend in!
