Trouble formatting other PC

ok i have this other PC im trying to format a 40GB to use and a server HDD but when ever i load i have XP cd in it does not ask to boot from CD and when it doesnt it displayes an error meaning theres no windows but i know of this i just can get to boot from CD i have gone to bios and still its being stupid help!

You push F2 or F12 to enter the boot menu, or to change the boot sequence. I’m sure you know that, though.

Don’t you hit delete to enter bios setup to change the boot order?

For me, it’s F12 for changing the boot loader and F1 for accessing the BIOS. It might just be a Dell thing though.

Oh, I was talking about Dells. I’ve never seen F1 or Delete as a shortcut.

It usually tells you when it boots up. I miss the days it was almost universally delete or F1 though.

I am wondering, you seem to ask tons of question. Do you ever google them first? Im serious. Im not saying its bad you posting lots of thread but im curious. We dont want to reinvent the wheel everyday now do we.

Ok its fixed now, Its just my D-Link wireless card i installed it the card is in place and it says “The card is not forund” this is bugging me now
