Hi all… I apologize in advance, I’m still very new to php, flash, etc.
On my website, I have a contact page (which loads externally with a preloader), and I used a tutorial here on Kirupa to make the contact fields work with php to send me an email with the information the user wrote. But I’m having some problems.
I followed all the steps of the tutorial, but for the life of me, I can’t get the send button to advance the frame one slide to the “successfully sent” page AND send the email at the same time. Just to test the source files from the tutorial, I replaced my swf with the fresh source file and it still had the same problems.
This tells me that there is likely nothing wrong with the contact page itself, but rather, something about the php script or the way php is handled on my server. Any insight?
For reference, I’m hosted by bluehost. The php script that I’m using is exactly like the one from the tutorial that I used (just changed the mailto address). I used the same fields as the one in the tutorial so that ended up being convenient.
Is there any more info I should post?
