I saw this very overcomplex tutorial in flashkit.com on creating an animation of written cursive on paper with masks and layers, it got a bit too complex and took too much work to animate each mask, but it was a lot easier just doing everything manually through this method and just skewing the finished product so it looks like it’s lying on paper, then you can animate your pen if you like. Good lucK! Admins is this acceptable for the tutorial section?
(Please tell me if this swf crashes your window, its got something to do with conflicting actionscript, and the software i used tries counting how many people view the tutorial and tries sending email, even though there’s nowhere for the email to go)
