Hello. I am somewhat new to Flash, and I have been learning how to use it quite quickly, but I have encountered some problems with a project that I am working on. Here are my questions:

I have created a pair of buttons that follow the mouse up and down on the vertical axis, controlling the display of content beneath them. The problem is, whenever the page loads, the buttons automatically go to the upper-most portion of the movie. This, I assume, is because it cannot find the location of the mouse upon the loading of the buttons. What I want to know is, how can I get the buttons to stay in a fixed position until the mouse cursor is moved over the movie in question? I want the buttons to follow the cursor, but having them shoot to the top of the movie when it loads is somewhat unsightly.

The site that I am working on is divided into two frames. Is it possible to have a Flash movie in the left frame tell a Flash movie in the right frame what to do? Like change frame (in the timeline), or go to a new scene, etc?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
