I’m Using Flash MX and PHP, Although I also Have Flash 5
I have a problem, awhile ago I needed to make a form in Flash and I hunted through the search engines until I found this: http://www.flash-db.com/SendMail/
It was my solution.
But now I HAVE to build another Form in flash, but this time my needs are a bit different. I need to add a couple UI components this time, specifically, about 4 radio buttons in two different groups and about 2 checkboxes.
But despite my efforts, I don’t fully understand the actionscript needed to get a value/variable off these components.
I tried looking at the following resources: 1. The Flash HTML help that comes with Flash MX. 2. The Tutorial Found on this website (Kirupa.com) 3.http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/applications/creating_forms/index.html
I doubt the problem is with the tutorials, I think the problem lies with my lack of experience with scripting language.
I just can’t seem to grasp it enough to seperate the actions needed for the multiple components and send a value/variable to my PHP script.
I REALLY need this.
If anyone has any suggestions, or links to different tutorials, that would be apreciated.
Or if someone could post a message or E-mail me explaning or showing me what I need to do to get the UI components and my PHP script to get along that would be great as well.
