Ultimate Kirupa Battle Round #1

So is this due tonight, or is it due saturday? I heard talk of it being due saturday, but the first post still says thursday, just trying to clarify. Sorry if I’m beating a dead horse.

You can put that dead horse away, becuase it’s due on Saturday at 12PM

Thank ya kindly.

Subject: Things that are loud

I tried to do something that still ties in with the subject, but isn’t something you’d expect. Hope you like it. You can download the PSD file here if anybody feels like it. The only thing I used from the outside world was the photo, which can be found [url=http://www.qmmuseum.lee.army.mil/d-day/d-day_qm.jpg]here, wrote the poem thingy myself too

Colin

Nice!!!

Colin! Thats great dude.

It got me so pumped up I kicked a german co-worker right in the face!

Wow fester! Thats exactly what I wanted you to do!

I was actually shooting some German heads (Call of Duty for PC) when I came up with the idea.

There’s been some nice entries so far, nice job everyone!

Subject: An underwater world

Good job 28 :thumb:

nice, all these entries are very good so far…I guess I am part of the last minute crowd

Ok guys,
here’s my first volley. I was going for that NewYork city, ghetto rap Bass style. You know? Gotta have the car with hydraulics

Nice job Colin, two very different styles, based on same theme. Good Luck!

Oh I do! I’m in for a tough battle right here. I’ll post mine soon.

Nice images Colin and Grinch :thumb:! I love that dday picture that car bouncing in the air with hydraulics lol.

I still haven’t started on mine. Knowing me, I’d probably post my image on the last second :sure:.

wow…all the entries so far is really good…cant wait to see nj_jcarter’s entry cuz im battling him.

Hey Colin,
quick thought, wasn’t D-Day on 1945? I always thought that, I’m probably wrong :stuck_out_tongue:

44, we just had a 50 year anniversary

The war was over in May 1945, well, at least the European and Normandy campaigns, the Pacific campaigns wrapped up in October 1945, I think. And Vladdrac, 60th anniversary
