Im putting together a lil banner, which consists of a movie as the bg. and im putting text on top of it. when i publish the movie, the text becomes blurry as static text, as dynamic its clear but only works on computers that have that specific font installed.
ive read hte tutorial on this site. i have everythign adjusted to 0.0 coordinates, i would just like clear text on top of a movie wihtout it being dynamic text.

Cause you’re not using a true pixel font. There are pixel fonts that are specific for flash and then there are ones that are more geared towards PS (bitmap font) which is similar to a pixel font. You need to get the correct type of font.
and dont forget to embed your fonts.
how do i embed fonts?
if its dynamic text, you select the text field, then look at the bottom right side of the properties menu, click that button that says “characters” and youll get a menu that will allow you to embed those bad boys. if its static text…im not sure you have to do anything…i never consciously did anything and my fonts look good on everyone’s computer.
