Hi, I am not sure where to post this…
I might be getting some freelance work from the US and i dont know how much will I charge (considering im from asia). I might be charging 50-70 dollars per hour (I asked a friend)… is it too much? I build Rich Media Advertisements (like pointroll, eyewonder and dart motif), and Flash/Static Website Design and Development.
And I am having a hard time estimating how many hours for this kind of work? How do you estimate anyway? All I know is that for a 40 hours is 3 Rich Media Ads (got from a friend), how about Flash Websites? Static? with and without programming?
Summary:
My Rate (please advise): $50-70/hr
Hours for each:
Rich Media Banners (Simple Non-Expand, Expand, With Tabs, with Video/Mp3, etc): 3 Ads per 40hrs
Website Design
Static (simple):
Flash (simple):
Static (programming):
Flash (programming):
With CMS:
Any suggestions? Also and tips on freelancing since im a newb on this one…
