I wrote this Flash 8 class this morning. It takes the built in Flash Date class and extends it. So no worries regarding the same date functions already being used with applications you have already written etc.

You can download the class file. It’s attached as a text, just change the file extension to a ‘as’ extention and you are good to go. Post any questions or comments or updates even.
