Hello,
I’m using the tutorial posted on http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml_slideshow2.htm to make an image slideshow but the text captations I need to use on each image require multi-line, bold and italic effects.
I tried using a CDATA tag with basic HTML tags inside and activated the “Render Text as HTML” option on Flash but he simply copies the whole text into the text field along with the HTML tags instead of correctly interpretating them and breaking the text or applying styles to it.
I recon there’s something missing from the actual actionscript code to make him interpretate the tags after extracting them from the XML document.
Can anyone shed some light on this subject?
