I need to pass a string from html to flash … and i did it before with FlashVars params that i added to the flash object.
I forgot how to do it…
anyone refresh my mind or if u got any info on it pls.
Not sure if I understand your question all the way but here it goes.
In your HTML page you have the object code for loading the Flash movie. In this code which you can auto generate in flash it links to your Flash file in your directory. SImply attach a ?variablename=test and reference it in Flash with the same name.

Yes. i used to use that… in flash 5. and stuff… and then in flash mx it didnt work anymore…
So i was told to use FLASHVARs… i used to have a link to the help from macromedia … and i cant find it anywhere now
