The $50 number is the tell. It’s priced exactly where it clears the “is this worth a lawyer’s time” threshold for the person signing, and nowhere near what it would need to be if enforcement actually existed on the other side. That’s not an accident, that’s a pricing strategy built around the weak enforcement, same as the vague terms. The interesting question isn’t whether people are getting a bad deal. It’s what happens once a few thousand faces are in circulation and someone downstream builds a product on top of that dataset assuming the licensing was clean. Nobody renegotiates at that point.
