I wanted to turn my complicated Flash into a smooth running video. So I exported as an AVI in Flash. This AVI had very good sound quality. Then I imported the AVI into Sorenson Media Squeeze 3 to do the compression. I keep on getting horrible quality output when I export as MPEG and Quicktime. There’s static even when I jack the bit rate up the the 300’s and sample rate to 48 kHz.
Someone in another forum suggested that the problem had to do with matching up settings to the original AVI file. When I exported this AVI out of Flash, I had 33 FPS, 24 bit color, sound: 11kHz 16 Bit Stereo, “compress video” checked, “smooth” checked.
