We need this

we need to have a crumb trail at the bottom of the page… that way in long threads, you dont have to scroll all the way up. It’s convenient…

the pages crumb is at the bottom for longer threads and the forum jump which is right there at the bottom gives you direct access to the current forum and each level up . :-\

what’s at the bottom is not a crumb trail, it’s a page index. A crumbtrail is pretty much what you call a forum jump…

Hey lavaboy,
Yes, that shall be done ASAP. Jubba suggested it in the Top Secret forum (which does not exist btw) =) It’ll be added in a short bit.

Cheers!
Kirupa

what I call the forum jump is the forum jump. Hitting go will take you back to the current forum and it gives you the option to go to any forum, forum section or the forum home, just as the crumb trail at the top allows

oh! that’s right… smacks self… but i wonder how many people use it.

I want the crumb trail for navigation, and I can definitely use that… however, the crumb trail’s main function is to let people know where they are on the site…

In any case, it wouldnt hurt to have a crumbtrail at the bottom. Besides, I can’t jump to the main page using the forum jump

whats a crubm trail? like when you break a cookie and the crubms follow? cause thats gonna get messy on my screen…

here we go… crumb trail.

there’s a idea that if you’re walking through the forest, and you don’t want to get lost, you should take some bread, brake it into pieces, and leave bread crumbs so you can find your way back… it tells you where you’re coming from. (this might be from a story, in which birds eat the characters crumb trail… but i’m not sure)

so a cumb trail is a string that tells you where you are on the site. it’s usually in this format “Main page > Sub division> sub sub division > page you’re on”

like at the top?

yup
