Im looking to get a domain for my portfolio site (when i get paid) and was just wondering what you think of this deal

it looks pretty good, but how can i use sub domains? is it possible to get a proper domain for a sub domain, if you get what i mean
so rather than somewhere.something.co.uk i could link it to somewher.co.uk
