Anyway I’m working on my own site it will be for sale site hopefully 1000 random items such as books, games, tools etc…
I’m using http://www.simplemachines.org/ forum as a start for themes, descriptions, pictures etc…
I’m looking for nice front page — names - in motions, graphics etc…
Could all this you guys have here work on simple machines site/forums.
Well I’m working on my web site it is a free forum type tempate from the simple machines.
My question was it is possible to implement/insert/use any of your guys desibns/graphics on my site

so you want people here to design graphics for you to use?
if that’s right, you’d have to tell people what it was that you needed. Also, it sounds like this should probably be in the job forum, because it seems you’re basically asking them to design the whole site for you.

I’m not to bright in designing/graphics/banners etc…and this is the reason I ask for help.
It is possible to implement-insert any graphics - banners-titles-letters in motion to my existing site from your forums or from: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ — for example are they compartible??

Well as far as help you came to the right place. Just jump in head first and start doing what feels right. Post it for critique and from there people will help steer you right. AS far as design skills. There are several tutorial sites as well as tutorials here. As long as you are showing that you are trying, you should have no problem getting people to help you here. If things get too heavy you can always post a job in the jobs forums.

yeah what DDD said… jump in and start trying some things. You should definitely be able to customise the banners and looks on your forum, i think there’d be options in the control panel or something like that.
but honestly, without trying to be a downer… you’re fighting against the HUGE corporations (ebay, amazon) which do offer a great service. you mention their big fees and things, but most people are happy to accept that for a reliable service and huge variety of items. I think you’ll really struggle to get people to trust the transactions, and to decide to sell their items via your site rather than a big site which will get millions of views.
I will never be like ebay or amazon or any of that type.
But as you can see they don’t have a great design front pages they have a NAME and millions of customers they have a perfectly design forums.
What I’m trying to do is to create a simple home base for sale site.
Believe me I was an ebay seller with over 2000 feedbacks and over 5000 sold items. With all the price increases at their site seller my size is getting screw.
I just can’t afford their fees.
I can get a lot of my previous customers without any trouble. This is the reason I’m working on my own site. I thing the template/forums I have now will do OK ???
Front page and advertising is a different story.

Ebay and Amazon’s front pages are fine, they just get straight to the point, special offers and often gift ideas based on previous shopping which is all good. Anyway, that doesn’t matter.
Best way to see what people think is post your site in the critique section. This forum thing sounds dubious for a auction site, so getting a broad opinion on that might help. People will either tell you how to do it yourself (hopefully) or post in job section with lots of details explaining what u need done
