Just wondering. Cause I have a compaq. It sucks but I’m trying to live on it…:pirate:
Building your own system is by far the best way to do things…it’ll be a lot cheaper and will probably perform better than a name brand machine
too bad you can’t build your own laptop
-teet
Dell all the way! :asian:
EDIT: I added apple to the list; don’t want to discriminate against the apple users.

I dunno… I lost track in the office…
I marked down Alienware, Customized, Dell, Apple and Other…
Other being the server rack…
I got a 4 customized pcs and 1 apple ibook clamshell,

or you can go to http://www.pricewatch.com and go into teh notebook section and just hit any link that says desknote :beam:
I’ve got one from “Vobis”.
strike up the heavenly music…I love my alienware…I just love looking at the blue light
I also have a gateway that I use alot because I had it before my AW. I have a L.I.S.A in my closet. Just as souvenir tho. I also have a HP laptop and my kids have a compaq.
Ha! EG - Thorphies … you guys make me laugh!
Commodore 64 is where it’s at!!
umm how about buying this one
Gateway needs to be added to the list. Even though they had some serious problems in the past, they are pretty good now. Consumer reports ranked them over Dell, IBM and Sony in August’s Back to School Computer Roundup.
I love my Gateway!
lol

I agree…
MY computer is a Dell, got it earlier this year, it’s really nice I made the extra effort to put all of the top of the line stuff in it
except now the 2.4 ghz processor is looking kind of slow… oh well
i’ll get a new one when I go to college
My sister has an HP laptop, it’s not too bad actually
My mom used to have an HP desktop, but now it’s just sitting in her “office” because it is too slow to use and she’s using my dad’s old G3 Bubble Mac
My dad is still using the Bubble Mac, but within the next month he will be purchasing a Dual 2 Gigahertz G5!!! :):)
And we also have a Toshiba laptop
The G5 Macs don’t run as fast as everyone says. There have been tests done that show Alienware and other gaming PCs work as fast, if not faster than the G5 does.
It’s still an unproven technology. It’s better in theory, yes, but it hasn’t done what everyone said it would.
I’d still get a Mac though
