What direction do you put discs into a mac?

Should the label (top) of the disc be facing me? This is weird, I’m using my friend’s computer today and no one is really here, can’t call anyone and seems like the answer isn’t online either. Don’t want it to get stuck in the computer.

If there is no label, the purple hue side should be face down :wink:

How could you possibly screw that up? It’s the exact same as any CD/DVD player you’ve ever used.

I try to mash them in sideways so that the desc is perpindicular to the drive.

^ Me too, it seems to always break my discs, but I still keep trying. Eventually it will work. :lol: Just kidding.

Sometimes I’ll stick them in a fire and liquefy them so that I can just pour them right into my computer.

^Nah I like to put random cd’s into my drive shiny side up and just turn light scribe on. Saves on paper.

Make sure you pour some acid in the drive to clean it. You don’t want your disc getting dirty, do you now?

The CD drive is on the keyboard. The slot on the side is where you put the iPod UltraNano to recharge.

Make sure you squish some blueberries into the slot before inserting the disk. CD drives love blueberries.

This story reminds me of a encounter from a place I used to work years ago. The owner hired a guy in a different department, his first day people were gone or something and the guy came to me and had a few questions.

1.) Why wouldn’t the floppy disk go in (Answer: it was backwards, D’oh!)
2.) Why wont my mouse work (Answer: it was also backwards, D’oh!)

Solution: NEXT please!

Careful though, with macs you have to rewind the cds manually. Otherwise they will chew them
