What do you think of this splash page?

Hi!
I need opinions about this splash page, it´s only the coming soon splash but I need to know opinions about it, thanks!

i really like the metal background texture. i’m not sure about the loose screw/broken corner in the bottom right. the shadow on the top right screw looks a little large. but that’s just minor stuff. nice work.

Isn’t there surposed to be a whole where the screw was in. And maybe making it chip of more. I mean it’s such a percise corner. It’s does look really real… Which is cool.

thanks both :slight_smile: yes that corner, I dont know, sometimes I like it, sometimes I dont :P, I would like to hear more suggestions, more is better

berko’s is more correct , just needs the screw to be lifted out more

urs look real good 3d, looks darker, and it´s a nice touch cause this is for a night club :stuck_out_tongue:

I think I like the first one better. The screw with the shadow looks a bit off, but not so much that some average person would be like “hey, that shadow on the screw looks off, we’re not going to enter the site now”.

now that I look at it with a different computer… I like the first one too :). My monitor was just set too bright!

Mabey tone down the compression, it looks kind of pixilated in parts :slight_smile:

3D//Of course it’s pixellated. This obviously isn’t the full size, full quality version or it would never upload as an attachment.

Berko//I like it alot. Kind of an industrial feel to it. I think you should bring out the text a little more, make the D brighter etc. But other than that it’s looking really good.

thanks :slight_smile: yes the final version is a little less pixelated, Im thinking in adding up the sign something like “entrance” or something like that, or “open” dont know but like a neon sign…
