What does this mean?

ive published my site in flash and have got a .swf file and an html file (both called splash.html/splash.swf)

I then ftp these files in dreamweaver, and they go to the remote view of the site as normal.

but then when I try to go on the site it doesnt display the site just has the message

<b>Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed</b>

does anyone know why this is?
and can i solve it?

the site address if you want to check it is www.mcfcstats.com

cheers

I have a strong feeling that you’ll have to call your html file ‘index.html’ or ‘default.html’.

I think that’ll sort it

this seems to ged rid of theat fault but it now takes AGES to load the page, if it loads at all!!!

the file size is only 55kb so shouldn’t take so long should it?

Yeah! Finally something i know! I’ll bet you have published your Flash file, to HTML, and then renamed it to Index.html, and then uploaded it to your server. But you also need to upload all your Flash movies, including the Movie from the file you published…

please don’t use dreamweaver to publish your SWFs/HTML. Honestly, it’s a terrible program. Just go into Flash and hit Ctrl+F12. That’s really all you need to do.
