What is it missing?

i started my first blog about a week ago. I’m not too familiar with HTML, CSS, or especially PHP(i know nothing and fear it). Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can make this look like a more legitimate website? I can tell that it still looks amateur but I’m not sure where to go from here.

Any experienced people willing to give me suggestions? Preferably something I could implement without too much coding, unless it is really worth it, then I’ll figure it out.

Any comments greatly appreciated!

The website is: BioLoser

Thank you

Gives me a blank page in FF2, OSX/

if I do C+U I can see the code, but nothing in the bwindow :x

what is FF2?

your blog looks really good btw! is it hard customizing the buttons and mouse_overs and all that cool stuff? or is the coding similar to actionscript?

Firefox

works on my firefox, maybe its a MAC thing?

Your images are HUGE. You should be saving them for the web in a png format or a jpg (your using jpg but with no compression ratio at all). Each of your images are like 700kb+

Works in FF2 for me (just takes a bit to load because of the images).

Your title bar image is misaligned on my computer (I’m using firefox), and the site wont even fit on my 1280 wide resolution.

thanks for the comments  for the pictures I left them the size they are so I could link to the source image if people needed to see the full size. should i resize them in photoshop and then just have two different files of the same picture? then just put the small one on the web page and link to the small one?

and for the title bar. I’m guessing there is some CSS code I have to change. is it the margin that would control that? and if so, my margin for the header says something like 0 0 0px, do I go into the negatives to move it more to the left?

thank you everyone for the comments i really appreciate it
