Hi all,
I build a lot of sites for bands, which is great because people like that sketchy vibe. But now i have a website for a record company to do. It needs to be slick, intuitive and easy to use, but without sacrificing any design. I’ve looked at similar sites, www.defected.com, www.sonybmg.com, http://www.emirecords.co.uk/loader.html etc and they all seem a little shoddy.
I get a lot of criticism that my sites aren’t professional enough for this level of work and I was wondering if anybody had some good pointers.
here is some examples of my work
http://www.frank-hamilton.co.uk
http://www.philcampbellmusic.com
http://www.musicphotographs.co.uk
and here are my initial thoughts on my new project, 4 areas to represent the different parts of the label

Many thanks
