I fixed the problem about the white box around still images but when i try to put a .gif into Flash MX it has the white box around it and it dosent even move!!. Just to let you know im making a Final Fantasy spoof and I need Edgars animations. EX walking left, walking right, walking up, walking down, the sad look, and anything I can get on him.
Bad news 
The flash MX accept only .jpg , try to transform ,or if U want animation edit the gif-s frames and import frame by frame in flash and save as .swf (in the vorst case u need to copy-paste from clipboard)
So basicly have a movie in a movie.
