Why are members reluctant to list locations?

I honestly couldn’t answer your question Rev.

I’m proud of being at Penn State, I mention that on the boards all the time. I leave Philadelphia as my location since I’m also proud of my home town.

You’d better be on the lookout for the Phillies this year!! The Phanatic got his head back! THE GIANTS ARE GOING DOWN!

I predict from now, Phillies win the NL, and then lose to the Sox in the Series. It’s inevitable - we’re cursed - we have to lose somewhere along the way…

but it’s true. all you have to do is find out where Kit lives and go North. That is where you will find Laslett. I think there are occasions when people do put something funny/original and fair play to them. I’m quite happy to put my location down. That way, one day I’ll be able to shake hands with Rev and make love to Ethan (but not at the same time mind you ;))

My location is accurate, but refers to a mental state instead of a physical location. And I’ve put it out there many a time, I live in Portland OR.

I’ve had ‘vauge at best’ locations myself.

heck, if you don’t know that San Francisco’s nickname is ShakeyTown, you don’t know where I have listed either…

like I said, this is more of a thread of curiosities…
