This is just something I’ve noticed, that quite a few members leave their location and age blank. Now the age, I understand, although it makes it look as though the member is 14, and doesn’t want anyone to know how young he/she is, even though it may not be true, that is what it looks like… I still understand it. I may agree, but I understand…
But for the location, I don’t understand the reluctancy to state where you live…
any insights?

I hate when someone tries to be funny and put something dumb as their location. I’m proud of where I am, Albany, NY. Not ‘up your arse’.

Yeah, but not laziness alone.
I’ve talked about my locale before.
Just don’t see a need for online forum to know my birthdate, and where I live.
A lot can be gained from your full name, birthdate, and where you live.
If I end up giving it out; I do…if not…oh well.
Just my view on it. I never leave any of that information on a board that I’m not administering.

Rev, i guess that to most people, being here is like playing a character. You have a new identity, you talk to people you have never met, its a way to escape from your real life problems.
What will be the difference of telling or not your real location?
Although i prefer having my name as my id and my real location on my profile.
there is nothing wrong with not listing your location, or leaving it blank, or using something funny.
I was just curious why there are so many empty locations is all.
