Hello,
I’ve been playing around with flash for a little while now and don’t understand why so many websites use preloaders to simply load a basic pixel picture or a some text. It looks cool, but why is the preloader there since the text can’t take up that much time to load. At first I thought these preloaders were for show until I realized if I go back to the site they take less time to load, leading my to believe they serve some function.
So can someone explain why these preloaders are there?
