I found out why Skype servers crashed from my weekly Micro Mart.

**[SIZE=5]S[/SIZE]**kype’s network outage last week caused problems for users worldwide, but not to worry - the cause of the fault has been identified and shouldn’t happen again.
It turns out that the routine software update was sent out to all users, who then, as requested, installed it and restarted their computers. The number of reboots and then log in attempts caused some previously unseen software bug to well, cause the massive outage. Oops.
The appropiate action has since been taken to fix it.
