Popular and widely used search engine located at http://www.google.com that was first developed by Sergey Brin and Larry Page in 1996 for a research project at Stanford University. The name Google is inspired from the term googol.

Dhrystones

Developed by Reinhold Weicker in 1984, dhrystone is a benchmark software program that tests a computers integer performance and is a good test of the computer processor.
Each dhrystones is a measurement of how many times the program is able to run each second. For example ‘1234 dhrystones per second’ indicates that the program was capable of running 1,234 times in a one second period.
