WinChat

I discovered a little app in windows xp’s system32 directory called winchat this morning. It is a nifty little program that allows you to chat with other computers, and it comes built into windows xp. A cool feature is that it allows you to view messages as the peer types, not just when they send the message.

To run the program type “winchat” into the Run window.

The help file says you can communicate over the internet, but I can’t figure out how, does anyone know?
