SO… I’m using Windows Live Messenger 8 and I like it… I especially like how you can be offline and still chat in this version, and hows it has shared folders. Anywho… when I close it (press the x) to minimize it to my system tray it crashes about 90% of the time… thus loosing all my history and tickin me off. Anyone else have this issue or at least have the solution?
When you boot from Safe Mode, and minimize WLMessenger, does the crash still occur?
have you tried reinstalling?

Yea, all that simple standard “tech” stuff I’ve already done, this is either a system issue or sth else. I’ve talked to a few other ppl and it does it to them too.
happens to me too… i just refrain from minamizing it

hmm i’ve got that build too, but it’s never happened for me.
0566 is the latest build, so don’t worry about upgrading.
The only later build out there is a leaked build.
