I installed Vista, and I have been using it for couple of days, I did something in the settings about checking or something bout harddisk. and when it restarted, i get an error telling me to put a boot disk. but i dont have a boot diskette. im using my old mac now.
I press F8 during startup nothing happens!
When I put the vista cd in and restart for installation Vista does find my harddisk and how much i got but i get an 0x80042453 error 
and then it restarts. I go to the recovery thing and to restore, but it does not find any windows or harddisk to restore it says. I put the linux cd in Ubuntu, and it cannot format. I put the xp cd in and it cannot continue it says harddisk error. And my harddisk is 1 year old help !
is there a way to reset the harddisk or something? Im searching in google but I cannot find anything. I have a MSI motherboard
