Okay all you computer / network gurus help a sister out. :beam:
I’ve got a pc desktop computer, about 3+ years old (I know, ancient). I just today installed a PCI card, a Linksys Wireless G. I have a brand new MacBook Pro and an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station.
Now, the MBP can see the Apple Base no problem. The PC however can’t seem to find it and they are sitting on a desk right next to each other (eventually I will be moving the PC). I know the Airport is working and I know the PCI card is installed properly. What am I missing? Why can’t the PC see the Apple Base?
Any help hugely appreciated. I’m no whiz on computers but I"m not a total moron either.
