I was thinking about web sites lately and I thought of the idea of the “WorldsLargestForum” (.com?). I know it sounds a little bit odd and forum sites are VERY hard to start and keep up. I am thinking that the whole gimmick of the “WorldsLargestForum” would go off slow but end up with mass traffic, similar to The Million Dollar Web Page (similar as in the goal for being the largest but also being unique).
The point of this forum would be to bring all content not needing its own forum(and of course have sections for bigger subjects too) into one large community. There have been so many times I have signed up to a forum to read an article or post one question and never went back and it would be much more convenient to be able to just go to a different subject of a forum and ask it. I know it won’t have the atmosphere of going here to Kirupa for flash chat or a gaming forum for game chat but I think it will bring all of the little subjects together in one place. I personally am a member of at least 100 forums, and I always have to go from forum to forum just to chat about all of the little things.
I am not trying to advertise anything here I am mostly looking to find out if daily forum dwellers would see this idea as good or bad. If I see a fair amount of people would go to a forum like this then I will work my ***** off and try to make the best no-subject forum out there.
Please I will take any suggestions or comments towards this matter.
