Before anyone says anything, this is not some script kiddie ‘h4x0r j00 up’ site. It is a site meant for people who are interested in exploiting web based (and soon application based) to bypass security measures.
Enjoy!

www.HackThisSite.org

Currently, we have around 13500 members.

The idea of the site is to test your abilities of exploitation and knowledge of computers.

We allow users to submit Articles they create on their own for learners (newbies) to learn how things function, and how to do things. We also allow users to link to individual sites. Other users can vote on how helpful the article/external resource was too them, giving the author points based on the average of it.

We have the Basic web challenges, which go anywhere from looking in the source for the pass to altering cookies to php exploits for these. There are 10 levels for it as well.

We also have the most popular missions, the Realistic ones that you might find in real life. Some of these are things like Voting a extremely high score for a friends band using a small easy exploit, or overwriting a hacker’s message by the same method they used, and even a multi-level school database hack mission, involving cookies, SQL injection, and even some more .

But the most fun part of it, in my, and many others ideas, is the actual hacking of the site. We challenge our users to find and exploit holes in the site. If they can make a successful hack, they get added to our Hall of Fame, and Given a certain amount of points. That amount is determined by the ingenuity, cleverness, and difficulty of the hack.

Small Javascript hacks like making an alert of the user’s cookie details range anywhere from 125 - 150 points, while SQL injection on one of the databases results in 200-225.

The users, if they attain a high enough score, go in the ‘Other Users’ page, which lists the 1000 highest ranked people on the site.

That about raps this up, so, in conclusion, I’d like everyones review.
