Xbox 360 and DVD Drive Noise

Hey everyone,
I’m curious to know, to those of you who own one, if your Xbox 360 drive makes a lot of noise. I knew beforehand that they are a bit noisier, but how noisy should it be relative to, for example, the original Xbox?
