My XBox is seriously out to get me or something. Just a week before the release of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, the power supply had to go and die. What gives?! Anywho, I need to replace it a.s.a.p., because I’m giving my sister PoP for her birthday December 2nd, and it’s a pretty crappy gift if she can’t play for another week or so until I fix it.
So does anyone have or know where I can get an XBox power supply compatible with one of the later versions of the XBox? I haven’t checked to make sure exactly which one mine is yet, but I’m pretty sure it’s either 1.5 or 1.6. And if you recommend an online store or something, if you’d mention whether or not you’ve used it successfully that’d be great as well. I don’t want to end up sending money to someone with no power supply in return.
Oh! Another thing - anyone know how much it costs to actually take it in for repair? My warrantee’s over, and I’d rather just fix it myself since I’m assuming it’s more expensive, but if not, hey I’ll just take it in somewhere.
