Okay… I have been looking into this, and am confused. I read about how to use XBOX360 as a streamer for content/files on an external HDD through a router (read it in Wired? last yr?) Anyways. Here is my system setup.
Belkin N+ Wireless router w/ built in NAS (Network Attached Storage) USB
XBOX360
Western Digital 1tb HDD
MacBook (wireless)
While the HDD is plugged in to the NAS USB port on the router, the XBOX360 can’t see it. What needs to be done in order for the XBOX to recognize the HDD through the router. Is it possible?
Do I need to install software or specific filetypes to the External HDD for it to work?
It all seemed so easy.
Any help in much appreciated.
