XMEN 2 Interface

http://www.x-men-the-movie.com/

Hi all,

I just saw this awesome 3D interface in the official XMEN2 website. Click on ENTER DATABASE (Stryker’s Mutant Database), and have a look at that interface! It will blow your mind! Anyone who has ANY idea on how to do that in flash, pls post your ideas here so that we can figure out on how play around with this technology.

lots of actionscript.

Check the perspective tutes here.

Or go to the lab at www.bit-101.com he’s done something “similar” very recently.

theres an MX version in the MX forum :-\ (atleast the basics in its functionality)

Guys,

Would appreciate it if you’ll could add in the url for the sections you’ve mentioned? Thanks. I couldn’t find the basic functionality as mentioned by Senocular in the flash MX part, but I’m working on building my website using a 3D interface, where the user can pan in and out of the 3D interface, as if they are in a 3D virtual space using thier mouse scroll button, or the keyboard. Sounds pretty intimidating, but I’m gathering resources on how this is done, thanks for all your post!

this is very cool and i saw the bit-101 virtual space experiment…

how i wish i knew how to do that :-\

Did you check the tute?

Bit-101, Hats off to you, Your site is great

Bit-101, saw your site, and yeah, I agree, you could’ve done that nav thiny in one evening. But, not everyone is an expert in AS as you are, so, it’ll be nice if you could come out with a tutorial with how to do it, or better, why don’t you just do something similar to it, and post it here for us to study.
