what i’d like to know (and yes i have done a search on this and havent found quite the answer i am looking for) is what the difference between embedding a font and using device fonts is.
if i import a font into the library and check the device font box is that the same as simply embedding the font? this confusses me for some reason
Embedding a font outline embeds the font into your movie so that people who view your flash site but do not have the font you use installed on their system are still able to view the font that you used.
Using device font I believe replaces the font you used with one of the device fonts in flash (which I believe are indicated in the font list starting with an underscore “_”)
