OK heres my story. Today in ICT I was told to view a powerpoint which is stored in “DataTransfer” which is a public drive on the school network and EVERYBODY can view the files in this drive. Seb beign seb likes to explore all the stuffs on there seeing as it is made public. This girls usb was playing up and she backed up her PERSONAL information etc, and put it in this public drive. So when i saw it I opened it as I explore the public drive all the time, I onyl open up one picture, and she saw. Her and the teacher than told me to get out of it, because it was personal etc. So i did. This girl is no claming I read her personal documents and tried to copy them to my homedrive/usb, but these claims are total bull****. Anyway the teacher told her to go to the ICT Dept, which she did, and they explored my drive and found well NOTHING. Now the teacher is going to tell the headteacher about it and I will probely be spoken to. After I got out of the folder, the teacher moved the girls data into her personal drive so nobody could get to it. But why didnt the girl, get the access rights of the folder changed, or get the teacher to put the files in her drive in the first place. So now I will probely get spoken to and get blamed, but the thing is if its in a PUBLIC drive where anybody can access and she didnt want people too, why didnt she do somthign about it. All she knows half the school has read her crap. Thsi has made me sooo angry. I dont feel that I’m really in the wrong.
