First, in my web design class, my teacher (who’s skills in web design fall far short of mine) asked me to show her the new javascript stuff i had been working on. so, like any good student, i told her the address of the site with my JS. the JS programming i had done was a button that makes yahoo.com pop up 500 times with the window.open command (i don’t know much about JS yet so that’s about all i can do). so she clicks the button, and surprizingly enough, yahoo.com pops up 500 times. unfortuneately, she assumes that i put a trojan horse on the computer and now i have 2 days ISS
but that’s only the beginning.
So then some kid in band leaves his metronome turned on in his band bag. The princible comes by the band room and hears beepbeepbeepbeep. So rather than guessing its a metronome, she assumes its a bomb. what kind of idiot would make a time bomb that beeps? how could you think that is a bomb? So anyway, the bomb squad shows up, along with 8 police cars, 6 fire trucks, and a news helicopter.
and so i have come to the conclusion that my school’s faculty = retards.
Hahaha, yea,I’m taking webdesign I this semester. Only chance ive had to get it in the schedule, I’m a junior. She pretty much told me to take it as independent study after i showed her all of my stuff.
Yeah same here. Last year we were got these standard IT lessons (you know, what’s a computer, how to work with word, excel, blabla) … the basic stuff. The guy kept saying wrong things, like he told us “These are the USB ports”. Of course, they were PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard (you know, the circular green and purple ones). Geesh. That, and more.
i was declared the nerd of the class for correcting the teacher all the time…
but all the stuff i did, had a great advantage in a short time… like, i could go away after doing a “really hard assignment” (doing copy’s of floppy’s) while the rest was typing a word document that took almost 30min for them…
then, the teacher where i got the basic stuff… (wich was only the office package) didn’t even hassitate to call me instead of the IT-people on duty
i build up a great name there… wow… good old times…
then i went to an IT/Tech school, where most of the teachers know more, but there was 1, omg, i will never forget that… again, the office package, but this time, more advanced ! (whooo im scared) you had to take tests for every package (word, excel etc) i did all the test, within 5 weeks… (1/2 test a week)… and there are still people not finished with that course, wich you had to finish a year ago…
now getting to IT-Media… wonder how this year will be… (php, mysql, javascript, xml, installing software an specific machines etc, all the media stuff)… i wonder…
Yeah, the computer teacher at my school is terrible. She knows so little, she can barely creat a black and white basic HTML page with some images from paint.
lol I remember years ago… our IT teacher didn’t let us use File Manager (good ol’ file manager times :P) because he thought we’d screw something up.

Would that be some kind of Windows automatic update folder or something?

The school I just left, I was suspended 7 times. All for minor things, just being a joker - seems like the real knobs never got suspended or expelled, anyways don’t worry about it benjah I didn’t and I left scholl with the highest A Level score in Law, so…let them punish you, you will have the last laugh.
My key boarding teacher sent me to thedetention room becuase she thought the save screen for ms word wassome sort of gam i was playing but thats probably the worst thing thta one of my teacher has done technologicly wise
Hahahaha…the best thing I ever did was I found out the admins password, and gave EVERYONE in the entire school access to EVERYTHING. Grades were changed, documents were deleted, and the best part was: they never found out it was me. They thought it was some other kid so he got expelled and I didn’t.
