Ok, here is the deal:
www.zoomify.com has a free version of their image zoom software converting an image to zoomable map.
also
www.mapsalive.com has similar but better version of the same thing, prices differ.
now what is my question:
zoomify slices the huge image of yours that you are willing to “zoom” and places it inside the specific folder, which you have to later specify in the template file.(no problems here)
The problem arizes when one flash developer-namely myself, tries to figure out HOT to ADD hotspots to it.
in the maps alive(where you can try their software for 30 days provided you have freely registered no credit card, zilch) you do not (I assume have your image sliced(all done through aspx) and you can add hot spots, of shapes you want and colors and even descriptions.however everything is kept on their secure servers and source is unknown, like the flas.
Request,
is someone here can direct me on how to create a zoomable map with hotspots?
