Hello!
The 2007 walk is just around the corner! It is set for March 17th at Maclay Gardens here in Tallahassee, FL.
I am walking to honor my mother, Jeanne Potter who is currently entering her 11th year of diagnosis.
I am also walking to honor and represent anyone who has experienced this disease either first hand or through a loved one.
Sponsorship for this event means that money will be put towards research and aid for those affected by this disease.
Last year the North Florida Chapter of the National MS Society raised over $250,000 for local programming and cure research and the MS Society as a whole raised $53 million dollars across the country.
This week is MS Awareness Week (March 5 - March 11). Roughly 400,000 Americans suffer with this disease.
Please sponsor me as I walk. Every bit helps. There is no “small gift” when it comes to funding research for a devastating disease… any amount is needed and useful.
All monies go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and donating is also a tax write-off.
Please visit my sponsor page at:
Click the gray “Support Randall!” button to the right and you can donate online.
You can also click “Join Randall’s Team” and come walk with me March 17th at 9:00AM.
At every MS Walk tshirts and other items are handed out. Last year I gave those items to my Mother for Mother’s Day.
It was a “feel good” moment and she was surprised, humbled, and thankful when I was able to tell her about the support my friends had shown.
Thank you all. I hope this finds you well.
