The K-man himself said it was okay to promote this…so here goes
Basically, I help out a charity in my home county to raise funds for disabled kids and one of the things I managed to get myself talked into was setting up an online charity auction of signed memorabilia. I did something similar for them last year and we managed to raise £9,000 which they were so impressed with, they’ve set me a target of £15,000 for this year!
Sooooo…please visit www.tday.co.uk and click on the links for the auction. We have a host of items this year including a Chelsea FC shirt signed by their first team; a Liverpool FC shirt signed by the squad; an England FC shirt signed by Steven Gerrard; a signed Elton John CD; signed Stephen Fry CDs and books; a Baby Spice signed top and CD; signed Oasis and Coldplay t-shirts; plus many more goodies.
Even if you don’t want to bid for any items, please pass the link on to anyone you think might be interested in them, or promote it on other sites if you think it’s appropriate to do so. And while you’re visiting www.tday.co.uk please take a look at the rest of the site to see why we need to raise as much as we can and where every single penny we raise goes.
Finally, while this isn’t intended to be a showcase or site critique, if there’s anything you spot that’s fundamentally wrong with the site (i.e. it’s completely broken) feel free to let me know.
Thanks for reading this - even more thanks if you visit the site - and undying gratitude to any Kirupians who put in a bid.
