I’m not all that excited really… When I first saw 2A I was just starting out in web development, and I was seriously impressed… Now I know Flash I loko at their site and just think “meh, motion tween, I could do that…”
It’s lost a lot of it’s appeal now that I know Flash and scripting…
But I am still jealous, it’s people like him that keep people like me from making sites, embarrasment 
i never liked 2advanced, i prefer sites like neostream and whoswe… may b coz white is my color.Every other site follows the 2 advanced theme… S O B O R I N G
But still,lets wait and see how this one goes out.
Hope they come wid some fresh ideas and may be some smooth colors for a change.

haha, well yeah, it wouldn’t be that hard to redo it, but it’s difficult to make something new but still as good as 2a… and isn’t this why there are so many rip offs on the net
Yeah, I predict a lot of 3D this time… I can’t imagine them being “new” without flashy 3D stuff.
I hope they have another stye and color for there new site. not just blue…etc
Maybe 3D and cool sound/animation.

Kit is right. Technicly there isn’t anythign advanced about 2A’s old site at al. It is still very impressive thoguh to be on of the first ones to make a site like this. One that is so widly compyed and ripped.
I have to agree with Kit as well, 2A is nothing but tweens and now that I know flash and AS I can see right through their site, but it is the way they implement them that is great. I still don’t think 2A is the best though, they are one of the best, but not the best.
Well you have to remember this version has been out for a long time, remember the first time it was released, I sure as hell do. It was a break in the media evolution of web development. They brought forth an erruption of inspiration. You cannot just say “Now that I know how they did it, their work isn’t hard”. You have to remember they did this version many years ago and without Flash MX.
My opinion is that they will break the barrier again to evolve the way you view sites on the internet. No doubt in the world that they will inspire our senses again. I think it is disrespect to say that their years old work is easy and can be done by many. I think you should be proud of them and let them inspire instead of point out their flaws and the things that they do, sure others can mimick or even make better, but they were one of the first and they sure do it well. I sure as hell wouldn’t want to get back stabbed like that from fans that I inspired years back and then they start thinking of me as mediocre.
Just my opinion on the subject, I really don’t care if anyone disagrees.
True dan very true. This site has been out for a long time and was built on older Flash versions. You probalb ywouldnt’ see half the cool sites u see know if 2A haddent inspired pll to do better.

big deal that we know how to do it…CAN we do it? they way they put it together makes it the whole thing, i mean, everything is tweens, so what? would you do it? i am not doubting anyone here, but thats the question to ask yourself…
I bet the file sizes will be huge. I read in an interview that Eric Jordan was looking forward to the day when everyone had broadband, so he didn’t have to hold back on quality.

All I know is that I sure as hell can’t make anything comparable to 2A work and not very many people that I know either. Then again we all have to remember that it isn’t just one person, he has help, but I think it is a masterpiece no matter how many people it took. I am not sure, but I have even heard that the current 2A version was done entirely by him.
