Is it possible to turn a 2d image into 3d without remodelling it?
unless anyone knows where to get a 3d “om” or “aum” sign?
or even a 3d number “3” ??

there’s some tutorials from The WebMachine
it shows u how to make 3d text in illustrator. after u do that i think u can import it into flash.
yeah depends on how 3d and to what extent
check out my splash page. The 3d text was done in flash, without Swift3d… (if you like the way it looks, i can show you how it was done…)
did you need an Ohm? Its in windows character map…

are you talkin about the MJ logo in the upper left hand corner?? if so, that 3d effect was created in Flash. The trick is to duplicate the shape, and scale it down slightly, and then connect the corners to eachother, much like the technique used in drawing one of those 3d boxes on flat paper…
Ive always found it pretty handy to just use Discreets Plasma when working with integrating 3d in to my flash.
