[3d blobs] performance test

3d blobs is a quick dump from a recent project I´m working on, just to test the performance (fps). Once again I´m using [URL=“http://away3d.com/”]away3d as substructure and putting some of my snippets over it.


Launch.

So for now, I´m up to ~54fps by rendering 50 blobs at the same time within a dimension of 800×600 pixels.

Still enhacing…

runs good here… Would of been nice to see 3d objects instead of the sprites though.

I’m getting a stable 92fps running Flash Player 9.0.124.0 on Vista SP1 on a Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 2.66GHz and 4GB of RAM.

BTW, the movie runs fine for me too at around 80 ftps. Of course I was also watching a movie, running a performance test on a Rails application, and having 30 tabs open in Firefox.
