ok, i am doing a tut, and it calls for me to duplicate an image, how do i do it?! plz help!

in photoshop youd go to
image/duplicate
dont know about 3ds Max though
clone an image…u mean an object?
u can clone a object by selecting it then edit>clone
or holding ur shift button and draging the object…
thanks! that was great! but now…how do i resize?
If it’s just a primative object e.g. a box u can go to the Modify panel at the side and adjust the size of the object
If not u could use the uniform scale tool which should be at the top bar next to the rotate tool… The icon looks like a square in a square (well in max 3.1)
just click on that and select ur object and drag it to resize the object :bandit:
