Hello everyone…firstly this is my first post and I have to thnk everyone especially Kirupa for this site…I did most of my tuts here…As of now I am facing a prblm…(thts why the post)
Well I am making a site on flash mx…I am using loadmovie to load an external swf into my main frame. Now lets say the name of the external swf is ext.swf and the main one is (as u guessed) main.swf.
In ext.swf i use telltarget, and the instance name of my movie clip is “a”. it works fine within itself…but when main.swf call it to its movie clip (named “contents”) the ext.swf telltarget thingy does not work. IN flash it say “error target/a not found =_level0. sumthing”
I desperately need to get that telltarget working in the main area…am sure a simple action script will help me out (maybe) but i am really zilch at that bit.
PLEASE sumone help me out…that whole site has been done following tuts from here…so am hoping this last hurdle will also be crossed here…thnks in advance…
